Google’s Nest video doorbell is a no-frills entry into the home security space, with exceptional object recognition and crisp, clear video both day and night. In our review, we said that it “couldn’t be easier to install,” taking just a few minutes with simple hand tools and the free Nest app. The two-way speaker and microphone work effectively, and you can store video for up to three hours without a subscription. Our only criticism of the unit was the sticker price, so Amazon delivering a 39% discount handles that.

Security System Deals

If budget’s tight but home safety is still a concern, this solid $60 price drop on an entry-level Eufy setup is hard to beat. This package comes with a pair of entry sensors for doors or windows, as well as an infrared motion sensor to detect unauthorized people anywhere you want to set it up. It all links wirelessly to the HomeBase unit, which communicates to the keypad as well as the Eufy Security app to keep you apprised on what’s going on. Smart Lock Deals

A double discount makes this an exceptionally solid deal on a good-looking smart lock that will keep you safe. In our review of the Aqara Smart Lock U100, John Delaney said that this setup was “a versatile smart lock that allows you to lock and unlock your door in multiple ways, including with a keypad and a traditional keyway and with your fingerprint, voice, or phone.” It’s simple to install and works especially well with Apple’s HomeKit automation system.
